The same wizard who gave Billy Batson the powers of Shazam! also gave magical powers to a young man in ancient Egypt who had a good heart. But when the boy tried to give his power to his dying uncle so that he could live, his uncle took it and became the famous Super-Villain Black Adam. Black Adam has the same magical powers as his Super Hero enemy Shazam!, but Adam's powers come from the Egyptian gods. Shu gives him endurance, Heru gives him speed, Amon gives him strength, Zehuti gives him wisdom, Aton gives him power, and Mehen gives him courage. Black Adam can also fly, and he's almost impossible to hurt.
